Operator

Prompt Builder is operated by Rodenair De Leon, a sole proprietor, doing business as "Prompt Builder."

1. Introduction

Prompt Builder ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data when you use our service at promptbuilder.rodenair.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the Service:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
  • OAuth data: profile information from GitHub or Google if you sign in using those providers.
  • Content you create: prompts, versions, tags, categories, and any other content you store in the Service.
  • Usage data: interactions with your prompts (views, copies, shares, test runs) used to power analytics features.
  • API keys: third-party API keys you optionally add (Claude, OpenAI) — stored encrypted and never exposed to other users.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your account.
  • Display prompt analytics and version history to you.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., password reset, email verification).
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Supabase, a managed cloud database platform. Data is stored in secure, access-controlled databases. API keys are encrypted at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (supabase.com)
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment (vercel.com)
  • Anthropic / OpenAI — AI providers used for wizard and suggestion features (only when you provide your own API key)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

6. Public Prompts

If you choose to make a prompt public, its content and your display name may be visible to other users of the Service. Private prompts are only visible to you. You can change a prompt's visibility at any time from the prompt settings.

7. Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to manage authentication sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across third-party websites.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, visit your account settings or contact us directly. You may also request a copy of all data associated with your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact
